The All of Us Division of Engagement and Outreach is excited to invite consortium members and program partners to the 4th Annual Spring Engagement Meeting: Choose Your Own Adventure. Save the date and RSVP as we come together to celebrate our achievements, discuss innovative strategies to achieve our core priorities, with a strong focus on enrollment.
The All of Us Division of Engagement and Outreach strives to initiate and maintain strategic and personalized engagement to increase visibility and support the All of Us Research Program’s mission, core values and five core goals through the following division-level objectives, ensuring equity and inclusion throughout. Our core priorities are:

The All of Us Journey, also known as the Mobile Engagement Asset (MEA) is coming to a city near you! Learn how to connect this interactive resource into your community to build program awareness and for engagement activities.

For engagement to be successful it must be authentic and culturally competent, but facilitating these conversations can be difficult. Join our panel discussion with our newest partners from Macon County, Alabama, the location of the U.S. Public Health Service Syphilis Study at Tuskegee, to delve into strategies on how to have authentic, intentional, and necessary discussions around engagement.

Macon County is the site of the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) Syphilis Study at Tuskegee. In February 2023, the Division of Engagement & Outreach hosted a powerful two-day symposium in Macon County, AL with clergy, local officials, and members of the community to discuss the history of research and clinical trials and its impact on the African-American community, as well as thoughts on a hopeful path forward as it relates to participation in research. As we focus on Bringing Authenticity & Cultural Competency to Engagement, take a moment in between your sessions to review segments of this symposium.

All of Us reached an incredible milestone last year as the return of genomic information began. Hear from our panelists as they discuss the implications of this important achievement for participants and communities, as well as perspectives from a Participant Ambassador who has received their results!

The University of Utah has created 11 easy-to-implement hands-on genomics engagements that are great for all ages and available in English and Spanish! They explore traits, heredity, disease risk and pharmacogenomics at a very introductory level, providing a return of value for current participants and sparking the interest of potential participants. Join this session to learn about short training videos, helpful guides for facilitators, ideas for scaling the engagements up or down for different group sizes, and where to access all of these materials.

The University of California, San Diego and the American Association of Colleges and Nursing (AACN) partnered for an enrollment collaboration at a 2023 Doctoral Education Conference. Learn how they leveraged social media, the researcher workbench, and other tools to walk away with 20 enrolled participants the same day.
